MACERANTE F6

Concentrated enzymatic bating agent

Macerante F6 is a concentrated enzyme-based for the treatment of wet-blue leather.

It is applied during the wet-blue neutralisation phase with a pH that can vary from a minimum of 5.8 to a maximum of 7.5. The product is usually made to work all night but 3 hours rotating in de-acidifying mode may be enough.

The specific enzymes contained in the F6 bating agent are capable of equalising the wet-blue of different origins by smoothing defects such as hardness and veins. They also relax and clean up blue leather, while allowing a better penetration of retanning and refinishing products.
